PSG were beaten 0-3 by Monaco after being knocked out of the Champions League. They are still on the road to winning the domestic title, but Mbappe and captain Marquinhos are not satisfied with the results and performances at the weekend.

PSG just lost a big loss in the country.

“The goal is to win the 10th league title. The rest doesn’t matter. Even if we win 8-0 or 9-0, people will still think about the Champions League. We still have to be professional and respect each other.”

“We have to respect the fans who have supported us and our family. You have to respect yourself if you have any respect for what you do.”

Marquinhos thinks that if they continue in this form, PSG could even miss Ligue 1, where they are currently 12 points ahead of rivals Marseille: “It was a disaster and hard to digest. It was a game. Our worst game of the year.”

“We are in a difficult time and we cannot throw it all away. We have to work together to get out of this moment. If we continue to perform like this, the title will be there. The risk is at stake. We have to try to be firm.”
